Ethiopian Airlines Launches Cargo Booking Initiative Amid Growth Plans

Ethiopian Airlines Cargo has partnered with cargo.one to boost its sales potential.

The largest air cargo network operator in Africa Ethiopian Cargo, has partnered with digital enabler cargo.one to boost its digital sales. The airline has turned to cargo.one to empower its digital transformation and unlock significant global sales potential.

Ethiopian cargo's capacities will now be offered on the air cargo booking marketplace while cargo.one can enhance access to the carrier's services by worldwide freight forwarders. This is critical for the carrier's ambitions of becoming one of the world's top 20 air cargo operators by 2035.

Founded in 2017, cargo.one is a platform for booking and marketing air freight services. It is the only digital booking platform of its kind, allowing accredited freight agents to search, compare, and book services in real time. With operations in over 5,000 forwarding offices, it has partnered with several airlines, including Lufthansa, SIA Cargo, and Qatar Airways Cargo.

ET Cargo operates Africa's largest air cargo network, serving more than 130 international destinations through its belly hold capacity and 69 dedicated freighters. It offers reliable and flexible services to its customers around the world.

The carrier is looking to enhance its operations and meet the global demand for freight services. By joining a professional and high-performance digital marketing platform, potential customers will have greater access to the airline's services. ET Cargo & Logistics Services Managing Director Mr Abel Alemu said;
