STORY HIGHLIGHTS

The latest project in Cincinnati’s urban core is a hillside apartment complex in Mt. Auburn overlooking Over-the-Rhine and downtown.

The Randall, from Over-the-Rhine-based Urban Sites, welcomed its first residents the first week of October.

The development at 1777 Sycamore St. offers 14 units – a mix of one-bedroom units and two-bedroom units – across two buildings.

The apartments start around $1,400 a month. Seven are leased as of this writing.

The Randall offers on-site parking, green space, a backyard-like sitting area and decks.

The renovation delivered fully renovated contemporary kitchens and bathrooms as well as new lighting fixtures and plumbing.

Janelle Kelpe, of Cincinnati-based Chroma Architecture + Design, was the project architect.

A ground-floor commercial space at the corner of Dorsey and Sycamore streets remains available.

"We're excited to welcome new residents to this property. With a beautiful courtyard and stunning city views, it's the perfect place to call home in a vibrant, urban setting,” Nikki Copeland, director of leasing at Urban Sites, told the Business Courier in an emailed statement.

Urban Sites owns the development through Sycamore Hill Interests LLC, having acquired it in December 2021 from Rolling River Capital LLC for no money and undisclosed consideration, according to public records.
