Hit Promotional Products announced it will build an 800,000-square-foot facility in Fairfield, according to a media release. The new facility will be located on the southwest corner of Tylersville and Seward roads, according to city of Fairfield Economic Development Director Nathaniel Kaelin.
Hit Promotional Products is likely to close on the property and could begin work by the end of 2024, Kaelin told the Business Courier.
The move will double Hit Promotional's current footprint in Fairfield. It currently employs 237 at its headquarters on Mercantile Drive.
Hit Promotional Products received approval Oct. 28 from the Ohio Tax Credit Authority for a seven-year, 1.266% Job Creation Tax Credit to create 100 new jobs at $4.8 million in new annual payroll.
JobsOhio and its local partner, REDI Cincinnati, also plan to provide assistance for the project, according to the release. Details will become public through the private nonprofit economic development agency’s monthly report after a final agreement is executed.
The announcement follows rising demand for the company’s products and services, Kevin Donnelly, REDI Cincinnati vice president of project management, said in the release.
