Louisville basketball vs Tennessee channel, time, streaming, odds

Louisville basketball will try to score the first signature win of the Pat Kelsey era today against No. 12 Tennessee at the KFC Yum! Center.

This matchup, the first installment of a home-and-home series, is a much-needed test for the Cardinals (1-0), who dismantled Morehead State, 93-45, in Monday's season opener, and should have their 22,090-seat arena reaching decibels it hasn't in several years.

"It makes an impact on that game that's really indescribable," Kelsey said Friday when asked about what's shaping up to be a raucous home environment. "I know the energy is going to be electric."

The Volunteers (1-0), fresh off a 27-9 season and a trip to the Elite Eight this past spring, kicked off Year 10 under coach Rick Barnes with an 80-64 win over Gardner-Webb on Monday. They are led by senior point guard Zakai Zeigler, who was an All-SEC selection and the conference's Defensive Player of the Year in 2023-24.

U of L and Tennessee are scheduled to tip off at noon today inside the Yum! Center.

Betting odds: Louisville is a 2½-point favorite (-110) on BetMGM, which set the over-under at 156½ points (-110).

Score predictions: KenPom.com gives the Cards a 46% chance of winning and projects a 77-75 final score in Tennessee's favor. BartTorvik.com is also forecasting a Vols victory (58%), with a projected final score of 80-78.

U of L vs. Tennessee will air on the ACC Network (AT&T U-Verse 610; DirecTV 612; Dish 402; Spectrum 524 and 937).

John Schriffen (play-by-play) and Eric Devendorf (analyst) will be on the call.
